Aleksander Myklebust (b. 1993) is studying photojournalism at Oslo University College (HIOA). He is the youngest member of the association Norwegian Nature Photographers (NN) – an association for professional nature photographers. His pictures have been awarded in numerous photo contests, including BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year , Travel Photographer of the Year, Memorial Maria Luisa and Nordic Nature Photo Contest.
Myklebust also works as a writer and has published nearly 200 articles in Norwegian newspapers and magazines. In the spring of 2014 he published his first book, Glimpses of Norway, which takes you on a voyage of discovery in the Norwegian nature.
The 22-year-old is also active giving lectures and hosting exhibitions. Although he has a penchant for the simple outdoor life, he is also fascinated by animals and birds. This is something he tries to spread further, both through words and pictures .
